An artist committed to the interplay between matter, light, and consciousness

Who is Monique Boudreau?
Monique Boudreau is a contemporary painter based on the South Shore of Montreal. For over a decade, she has been developing a sensitive and impactful visual language through works that intersect abstraction, surrealism, and a profound awareness of the world.
In 2025, she was selected as one of the 100 international artists in the Global Art League's annual exhibition, a recognition that confirms the impact of her work beyond Quebec. Her works have been exhibited in galleries, symposiums, and major events across Canada, and have been featured in publications such as Le Reflet, Le HangArt, and the Association Cheng Huai.

An intuitive and grounded approach

Trained by mentors such as René Milone, Marie-Andrée Couture, and Antoine Bittar, Monique also completed intensive training at the Montreal Academy of Arts and Design. She has refined a highly personal mixed-media technique, combining acrylic, ink, spray paint, resin, and metallic leaves to create luminous, textured, and emotionally powerful works.
Each painting is the result of a balance between instinct and mastery, between contemplation and reflection. His recurring themes are: human psychology, the environment, memory, and wonder.

An inspiring journey
Monique discovered her passion for art at a very young age, but it was after a career in entrepreneurship and design that she chose to dedicate herself to it entirely. She actively participates in the Quebec art scene, while pursuing constant personal exploration through her collections, special projects, and custom commissions.
