Veille is a structural work where material itself becomes a language.
Mortar, black sand, and pigments form a dense, almost geological surface marked by silence and depth. The metallic leaf, partially revealed, acts as a restrained light—fragile yet persistent—suspended within darkness.

The work evokes a state of latency: the moment just before awakening, when everything remains still but filled with potential. Resin seals this suspended moment, while ink and acrylic introduce subtle movement and breath.
